Aims and Scope
The Journal of Midwifery & Reproductive health (JMRH) is a peer-reviewed free open access journal of Nursing & Midwifery School, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran. This professional journal provides a venue for the publication of research relevant to midwifery and reproductive health practice by specialists and researchers in various disciplines including midwifery, reproductive health, maternal and child health, obstetrics and gynecology, sexual health promotion, women's health and nursing. It publishes quantitative and qualitative original articles, review articles, short communications, case reports and letters to the editor in a broad range of clinical and interdisciplinary topics including sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, safe pregnancy and normal childbirth, adolescent health, family planning, menopause, screening of gynecological cancers, infertility holistic care, women's mental health, psychosocial and ethical aspects of women’s health, counseling and educational interventions in reproductive health and midwifery, women’s empowerment and reproductive rights.
JMRH is dedicated to facilitate knowledge transfer within the discipline, improve the health care of women throughout their lifespan and promote excellence in midwifery and reproductive health.

1. Open Access Policy
All submitted research articles to this journal will be undergoing rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous reviewing by independent reviewers. For making freely public accessibility to research with the aim of greater global exchange of knowledge, this journal provides open access to its published articles.
2. Publication fee
There is no charge for submitting a paper to JMRH, and no page charges for publication if the paper is accepted. Also no charge is made for colour figures in the journal. However, the journal has no responsibility to provide Academic English editing and translation services. So any fees related to translation and editing must be paid by the authors.
3. Copyright Notice
Authors of the published articles in this journal retain the copyright of their articles and will be able to archive pre-print, post-print, and publisher's versions.
